Family of Trees

Image
family of trees Me and friends drive on this road at least once a week and we always see these four trees hanging over the road. So, one day we pulled over to take pictures of them and reading their energies trying to figure out their stories. We then figured out they were a family of four, two moms and two sons. The mothers' energies were very calming but also a little aggressive. We could tell the mother trees were tired and strained out which is why we think they are hanging over the road. When we read the sons energies it was very pure and lively. Them seem to be very chaotic and not good at listening to others. The way the whole family of trees are separate sides of the road also struck us to maybe be explained as a complicated life. When reading into that we found out that the trees are showing us that distance is sometimes good for families and that boundaries should be respected and created.

Dracula The Tree and the Hawk fight

Image
my friend ava at the tree Me and my friends were walking out of my dorm building when we saw a beautiful red-tailed hawk perched up on this tree here in the photo. We sat down under it and watched the hawk fly around. A squirrel then was running up the same tree the hawk was perched on and when the hawk saw the squirrel it went into hunting mode. All of a sudden, the hawk swoops down at lightning speed and chases after the squirrel. The squirrel runs as fast as it can to the next tree and waits at the top of the tree thinking it had out run the hawk. Then the hawk came flying right at it and almost snatched the squirrel up. At the end of the fight the squirrel hid inside a metal box right by this tree in the photo and the hawk swopped down and was stomping its feet on top of the box to try and scare the squirrel into coming out. The squirrel did not fall for the trick and stayed in the box. This was one of craziest coolest experiences I have ever seen in my whole life. Birds are one of...

Spening time outside with my dog

My dog Tucker outside with me I have a golden retriever named Tucker who loves the outdoors. We go on hikes, swim at lakes, take walks, and just playing outside. My favorite part about spending time with my dog is definitely when we go on hikes. He is a very well-trained dog, so I let him off the leash when we are walking, and he will just run around. Seeing my dog happy makes me extremely happy so I try to spend the most time I can with him. The combination of my dog and nature is my favorite thing I will always cherish these moments I spend with him. Being at college has stunted our time together outside but whenever I go home, I make sure to take him on an adventure.

Spending time outside

Image
This is a picture I took when going on a walk during the fall here up at Keene Being outside is a sense of clarity and peace for my soul. I struggle with depression and anxiety which makes it hard for me to live like everyone else, so I have found it helps me to be outside with the nature. Although I struggle sometimes to get out of bed and push myself out of my comfort zone, I try my best to spend the most time I can connecting with the Earth and its beauty. I grew up outside most of my life. My mom loved to hike, and we had a cat that loved to be outside also. I connect being outside to peace because that is where I really can feel alive and free. I struggled through my teenage years with the constant feeling of being trapped so when I went outside whether it was by myself or with friends it gave me that freedom feeling.

Spending Time Outside

Image
When I spend time outside, I try to appreciate everything and send my gratitude into the universe. Yesterday I spent some time outside the pond on campus and saw some geese and ducks. It was so cute to see the animals back out when the sun comes out and warmer weather starts. Me and my friend fed the birds some bird seed and tried feeding the ducks some cheerios, but they stayed towards the middle of the pond. The sun was hitting the pond at a perfect angle lighting up the inside of the water and it was so pretty to see all the moss and sea grass growing. Spending time outside helps me appreciate the small things in life. I love being outside and breathing in the fresh air and just taking a break from life for a couple minutes or even hours.
